World

As members of Christ’s body throughout the world, we are mindful that we are called on mission to proclaim the Gospel in “Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). As Anglicans, we are especially joined with our Anglican brothers and sisters around the world in the entire Anglican Communion, for whom we pray every Sunday in the Anglican cycle of prayer. Presently, we have two primary global mission partnerships:

Reaching the Pygmies – a ministry dedicated to the service of displaced Pygmies (also known as the Batwa people) with housing, medical care and education for children in Uganda. With Ascension Episcopal School, we are one of the primary supporters of Epiphany School in Uganda.

Roots and Fruits – We support this ministry, led by Fr. Kamal Farah, that affords quality education to Palestinian Christian children in the Holy Land.
